Michelle A. Cobourn-Baurley
Michelle joined the firm in 2010 after serving for three years as the City of Shelbyville’s full-time City Attorney, where she was responsible for handling a wide variety of legal matters, including advising local Boards, representing the City in administrative appeals actions, providing legal counsel to the Mayor, acting as counsel for the Fire Chief and Police Chief for safety employee disciplinary actions brought before the Board of Works and Public Safety, and drafting and enforcing City Ordinances.
In 2010, Michelle came to the firm to join the Subrogation team led by attorney Cameron Morgan and has since traveled all over Indiana litigating civil cases in the various county seats. Michelle has appeared in front of a number of judges throughout the State of Indiana for hearings and trials on matters ranging from auto accidents to product defects. Michelle’s attention to detail and thorough preparation have enabled her to successfully advocate for her clients and have yielded numerous successful settlements, court rulings and jury verdicts.
